Whether you’re looking for affordable thca small buds, discounted thca ounces deals or rare and exotic indica, sativa, or hybrid strains, we’ve got what you’re looking for.
What is THCa Flower?
THCa flower is the raw buds from cannabis plants carefully bred, harvested and cured to have high levels of THCa and very low THC. And for clarity, THCa stands for tetrahydrocannabinolic acid which is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid and the precursor to THC.
However, unlike THC, THCa doesn’t get you high in its raw form — it needs heat to activate. When you smoke or vape or cook THCa products the heat starts a process called decarboxylation which turns THCa into THC. This transformation then brings about the psychoactive effects that cannabis is known for.
And since all THC-dominant strains contains THCa, THCa hemp flower is full-spectrum cannabis, making it a favorite for recreational users looking for potent effects after decarboxylation.
THCa VS THC
Although THCA and THC are closely related, they do have some differences including:
- Chemical Structure: thca and thc have almost identical molecular structure but thca has an extra carboxy group attached to its molecule which changes the biochemistry of the compound. This is why it needs to undergo decarboxylation aka heating to shed this molecule and convert it to thc.
- Psychoactive Effects: Like we said before, , thca is non-psychoactive meaning you won’t get high if you consume it raw. THC on the other hand is the compound that gives you that cannabis high.
- Legality: Perhaps the biggest difference is how the law treats each compound. Thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill hemp derived products like cbd, delta 8 and yes thca are legal as long as they contain less than 0.3% delta-9 thc content by dry weight. Any product exceeding that 0.3% threshold is considered marijuana which is still a schedule 1 controlled substance at the federal level and in many states.
There's a lot more to learn about THCA so check out our in-depth guide on THCA vs THC for more details.
How To Use THCa Flower
You can use THCA flower in many ways and your preferred method will shape your experience.
- Rolling Joints or Blunts Rolling THCA flower into joints or blunts is one of the most popular ways to consume it. When smoked the heat from combustion converts THCA into THC which gives instant effects and adds a sense of ritual that regular users love. THCA prerolls let you skip the whole hassle of rolling and jump right into enjoying.
- Bong or Pipe A bong or pipe lets you take quick precise doses of THCA flower. Bongs use water filtration to make smoking feel smoother while still delivering strong effects. Pipes are easy to carry and simple to use when you’re not at home.
- Vaping Dry Herb Vaping THCA flower keeps the terpene profiles intact and avoids the harmful byproducts of burning. Dry herb vaporizers heat the flower at specific temperatures which activates the cannabinoids without combustion. This gives a cleaner taste and less lung irritation.
- Cooking & Edibles To make edibles you need to decarboxylate THCA flower by heating it in the oven at 220°F for 30-40 minutes. Once it’s ready mix the flower into butter or oil and use in recipes. Edibles give longer lasting effects but take 30-90 minutes to kick in.
Is THCA Flower Legal In Florida?
Yes it is. Under the 2018 Farm Bill THCA is legal as long as the delta-9 THC levels are below 0.3% on a dry weight basis. Florida’s state hemp laws follows this federal guideline so THCA can be sold as legal hemp as long as the requirements are met.
Florida also has a medical marijuana program. Patients with a state issued medical marijuana card can buy and possess cannabis products including THCA flower from licensed dispensaries. But if you’re looking to buy THCA for recreational use you don’t need a medical card — you just need be 21 or older and you can order it online from us!
Since cannabis laws are always changing the last and best advice we have is always check the most up to date florida state hemp laws before making a purchase or consult a professional lawyer if you are unsure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will Thca Flower Get You High?
Yes, but only when heated. In its natural form, THCA is non pychoative. When you smoke, vape or cook it, the heat converts it into THC which is what gets you high.
What Thca Strains Are Available Online?
We have a rotating selection of top shelf indica, sativa and hybrid strains. Our stock is always being updated with new batches and drops so be sure to check ourTHCA flower product pages for the latest.
Will Thca Show Up in a Drug Test?
Yes. Your body metabolizes THCA into the same compounds as THC and a standard drug test will detect these metabolites (THC-COOH) and show a positive result. We advise against using THCA products if you are subject to any form of drug testing.
What to Look for When Buying Thca Flower in Florida?
When buying THCA flower always make sure you are buying from a reputable brand that provides a certificate of analysis which is a lab test result to show your product was tested for cannabinoid profile, mold, contaminants, pesticides and heavy metals.
